Thank you for your interest in learning more about the MetroGuide.Community social network, a wholesome online community dedicated to improving the way real people interact with their real communities. There are great reasons to join the ".Community," which is free and no-obligation.

Write Reviews and Get Points.

When members add value to the ".Community", we believe they should be rewarded. We use the name "MetroPoints" for the points we award for doing helpful things such as writing hotel or restaurant reviews.

The way we see it -- if you are going to take time to write a review online, why not get points for doing so?

MetroGuide also offers points for other activities such as voting on the quality of someone else's review, reporting inaccurate listings, etc. The full range of activities that generate points will be deployed in 2007. Once you earn enough points, you can begin to redeem them for prizes called MetroRewards.

How to Write Reviews.

The easiest way is to search for a business you have recently visited, and then click on the "write a review" link on that business' listing.
